Local public safety and Loganville City officials got a preview taste today, and tomorrow the new Firehouse Subs in Loganville opens its doors to the public. The restaurant will begin serving at 10:30 a.m. Store hours are from 10:30 – 10 p.m. daily.
Adam Arefian, owner of Firehouse Subs in Loganville, is inviting the public to come out and try, “the best subs around.”
There are reportedly now more than 1,400 locations of Firehouse Subs in and around the United States and surrounding territories. The newest one to open in Loganville tomorrow can be found at 4639 Lawrenceville Road – the corner of Highway 78 and Lawrenceville Road where Corner’s Edge Butcher Shoppe was previously located. The butcher shop has moved to a new location in Faith Crossing.
According to the Firehouse Subs website, the restaurant was founded in 1994 in Jacksonville, Fla. by two former firefighters, brothers Robin and Chris Sorensen. It later became a franchise and has continued to grow into the 1,400 and counting locations it now has. Because of its roots in public safety, the company also has a charity, Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, that contributes “equipment, training and support to hometown heroes.”
