First Presbyterian Church of Monroe celebrates 2nd Sunday in Easter

By FPC of Monroe

This Sunday (4/23) we celebrate the 2nd Sunday in Easter.  Things get underway at 9:15am with food and fellowship at the Breakfast Table.  Sunday School, for all ages, follows at 9:45am.  Our traditional worship service is at 11am.  Pastor George’s sermon “I am the Good Shepherd” is based on John 10.11-18.

Cub Scout Pack 705 will host a spaghetti dinner fundraiser at the church on Thursday 4/27 at 5:30 pm.

Saturday 4/29 our firearm interest group, Powder&Brass, will practice at WCSO range at 9:30 am.

You’re invited to attend our Zumba classes on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6pm in our Fellowship Hall.  Tuesdays at 10am, come to our Pastor’s Bible Study.  Men are invited to our “Man’s Cave” on Thursdays at 10am to enjoy refreshments and solve the world’s problems.

Looking ahead to this summer, our VBS program will be held June 16/17 for one weekend only.

FPC is proud to sponsor Boy Scout Troop #705 and Cub Scout Pack #705.

We’re a friendly bunch growing in its love and obedience to Jesus, and we’d love to have you join us for any and all of our activities.  We’re located at the corner of Breedlove and McDaniel.  Come visit us.  Scout us out beforehand at www.fpcmonroe.com.
