First Presbyterian Church of Monroe: News and events

Press release from FPC of Monroe

This Sunday (4/29) is the 5th Sunday of Easter.  Things get underway at 9:15am with food and fellowship at the Breakfast Table.  Sunday School, for all ages, follows at 9:45am.  Our traditional worship service is at 11am.  This will be Pastor George’s final day at the church as he is set to retire on April 30.  The Reverend William Harris will provide the message “Famous Last Words”, based upon 2 Samuel 23.1-7.

A Retirement Luncheon for Pastor George will follow the service in the church fellowship hall.

Men are invited to our “Man’s Cave” on Thursdays at 10am to enjoy refreshments and solve the world’s problems.
