Fitness Kula, LLC has a new home and by all accounts the Ribbon Cutting last week by Greater Eastside Chamber of Commerce was a great success.
“Fabulous event ~ so proud of all Kristen Sutton Henshaw has accomplished… so happy to be part of this #Kulastrong family,” Lida Vander Meer-Ludwick posted on the Fitness, Kula, LLC Facebook page. “Kristen has changed lives with her dedication to fitness, wellness and strength. Come take some classes and you’ll see how you can transform yourself into a happier, stronger healthier YOU.”
The new location is 2860 Highway 78, Suite A and B, in Loganville and is a dream come true for Henshaw who has been a well-known fitness instructor in the Loganville area for many years.
“It was a very special day – this new home of ours has been a dream for about four years now, and this community of people has really come together to help make it happen,” Henshaw said. “It’s an exciting time and it still doesn’t feel real! My husband and I have not taken out any loans or credit, and we had a number of fantastic people helping with everything along the way. It’s been some hard work and totally worth it, and I am looking forward to the future and what we can bring to the community.”
Fitness Kula put on demonstrations during the Ribbon Cutting to show the type of programs and classes that are offered on a daily basis.
“These are just some of the wonderful people that come to classes every week,” Henshaw said. “The demonstration we presented included STRONG by Zumba (a high intensity interval training based format) and Yoga with Nickie Puls. The ladies who co-led the demonstrations are Sandra Gomez and Nickie Puls, who teaches Yoga at Kula every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
