The annual Gwinnett Public Safety Festival is this Saturday, Sept. 23 from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. Gwinnett’s Police and Fire departments are teaming up and promising “a fun day with tons of stuff to see and do, including touch-a-truck with emergency vehicle displays. These include a police helicopter, an ambulance, and a ladder truck. Police will show their S.W.A.T. gear and fire specialty teams will perform various demonstrations. Animal Welfare and Enforcement will assist with pet adoptions and parents can have their kids’ car seats checked.
The event will take place at Coolray Field, 2500 Buford Drive in Lawrenceville.
