Great prizes in Your Local News second Annual Father’s Day Competition

We did it for local mothers, so how could we possibly leave out the fathers. Your Local New is delighted to announce our second Annual Father’s Day Father of the Year Award for fathers in the local area. Last year, we had some great entries with the winning entry going to Eric Hegwood for the submission by his stepchildren, Tyler and Lucas Cloud. He won several prizes to make for a great Father’s Day.

This year’s Father of the Year will receive:

So for the competition this year, we’re again inviting people in Walton County and the Loganville area of Gwinnett County to submit, in 300 words or less, why they they think their father should win. We have a wonderful gift package for the winning dad. He will be chosen from entries submitted by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14 2017, in an email to sharon@yourlocalnewsinc.com or melanieann@yourlocalnewsinc.com.  Entry must be submitted by a child, of any age, on behalf of their father. Please include name of child submitting the entry, name of father and child, and a photo that includes the father.

Announcement of winner will be shared by Your Local News on Father’s Day 2017.
