Loganville kicks off the Groovin on the Green concert series Friday with Rhythm Nation. In a special concert to celebrate this Bicentennial Year in both Walton and Gwinnett counties, Rhythm Nation will be bringing its 10-piece band to entertain the crowd. Don’t let any rain put you off, according to Kristy Peters with the City of Loganville, while they hoping the rain holds off, if not the concert will be taken inside the Rock Gym – the show will go on!
You’re invited to bring your cooler, lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the sounds of Rhythm Nation, who perform everything from more contemporary music to classic rock and Motown – and everything in between. Beer and wine are permitted and will also be sold at the event. Food vendors will be on hand. For more information on the band visit www.rhythmnation.net.
The music begins at 7:30 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m.
