Gwinnett PD need help identifying suspect who injured himself allegedly stealing empty box from T-mobile

(Lawrenceville, Georgia)  The Gwinnett County Police Department Burglary Unit needs the public’s help in identifying a male who may be responsible for a burglary at a local T-Mobile phone store.

On November 23, at approximately 3:45 AM, a suspect broke into the T-Mobile store located at 1365 Grayson Highway #107 in unincorporated Lawrenceville. The suspect enters the business from the front entrance by smashing through the glass. The surveillance camera footage shows the suspect trying to take a display phone immediately upon entering the business, but fails to do so. Then the suspect is seen trying to open a safe, but is not successful.

The suspect is then seen taking a box from the store, removing the burglar bar from the rear door, and then exiting through the back door. According to the owner, the box the suspect took was an empty box.

The Gwinnett County Police Officers arrived on scene and cleared the business for suspects. Upon clearing, the officers located blood in the main sales floor and also the back door area. The blood on the scene was collected by the Crime Scene Investigators as evidence and is waiting for results from the lab.

Suspect:        Black male, 18-25 years of age, black hooded jacket, black jogging pants, gray socks, black sandals
