Gwinnett PD seek help in identifying suspect in credit card fraud case

press release from Gwinnett County Police Department

(Dacula, Georgia)  The Gwinnett County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect caught on surveillance using a stolen credit card number.  On Nov. 11, the victim called the police department to report that someone had made several fraudulent transactions on his credit card.

The victim told police that he still had possession of his card and had no idea how someone was able to use it.  When the fraudulent transactions were investigated, detectives discovered that several of them took place at the Kroger at 2700 Braselton Highway in Dacula on Nov. 5.

Detectives located video surveillance of the suspect using what is believed to be a forged credit card.  The suspect is a female with dyed hair wearing a blue jacket with black pants. Photos from that surveillance are being released in hopes of identifying the female.
