Suspect has allegedly stolen from multiple Harbor Freight stores

(Lawrenceville, Ga., March 15, 2020) – The Gwinnett County Police Department asking for the public’s help in finding a serial shoplifting suspect who has allegedly stolen from multiple Harbor Freight stores over the past 14 months. Jared Pierce is the suspect and he has allegedly targeted Harbor Freight stores across the Atlanta area, stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from the same stores on several occasions.

Pierce allegedly targets welders, plasma cutters, and generators during his thefts. He struck another store yesterday in Lawrenceville, loading up a dolly full of welders and walking right past an employee who tried to stop him as he fled. He has active warrants, and the police department believes he is avoiding arrest.

Pierce is 6’02 and approximately 245 pounds. He has long dread locks that he often pulls back. He walks with a distinct limp. He has been known to use multiple vehicles during his thefts.
