Gwinnett Police seek suspect accused of punching 76-year-old man at a Dacula Kroger

(Dacula, Georgia)  The Gwinnett County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who is accused of punching a 76-year-old man at a Dacula Kroger on Jan. in Dacula on Jan. 3, 2020.

According to a press release from GCPD, it began with a verbal altercation when the 76-year-old man confronted the male suspect about parking in the fire lane of the business, allegedly telling him he wasn’t allowed to park there. When the victim entered the business, the suspect followed him and punched the victim in the back of the head.

GCPD note that surveillance from the incident revealed that the victim didn’t see the suspect walk up behind him until right before he was struck.  The victim is recovering from the injuries he received. The video of the incident is released in hopes of someone identifying the suspect.
