Gwinnett symposium this weekend focuses on dialogue between youth and police

The Gwinnett County Alumnae of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in partnership with the Gwinnett County Police Department will host a symposium for teens on Saturday, March 24th from 8:30am – 1:30pm.  It will be held at Rhodes Jordan Park Community Center located at 100 E. Crogan Street, Lawrenceville.  This event is open to youth ages 11 – 18 years old.

The purpose of this event is to bridge the communication gap between youth and police by having open dialogues.  This will help to inspire and develop better understanding and interaction between our young people and law enforcement.  The goal is to gain insight into each other’s perspectives.

Registration  is required to attend this event.
