Haddow Report update on the agenda for Loganville City Council on Monday

The City of Loganville will have it’s March 2020 City Council Work Session on Monday. An update on the Haddow report is on the agenda under economic development. Chris Hall and Ladson Haddow of Haddow & Co. had presented this report to the Loganville City Council and members of the public at a Special Called Meeting on the morning of Feb. 27, 2020. The company had been commissioned to do a market study on the viability of apartments proposed for downtown Loganville in a proposal by Connolly Development. At the meeting, Haddow reported that the study revealed that a slow start would be a more viable option. The slow start could be controlled by allowing targeted rezoning of various parts of the proposal, preferably the 250 – 300 apartments planned for the current City Hall property and about 15,000 to 20,000 square feet of retail development along Main Street.

The Loganville City Council meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2020, at City Hall located at 4303 Lawrenceville Road. The community is invited to attend. The full agenda follows.
