Happy New Year from Your Local News

As we close the chapter on this year and begin the countdown to 2018, we would like to wish all our readers a very Happy New Year. We wish health, happiness and prosperity to all and thank you for a great 2017.

In 2017, we combined Monroe Local News and Loganville Local News into one website with separate sections for the different areas. We are happy to report that since doing this our readership has grown by more than 26 percent with us reaching almost 2.5 million views for 2017. We are hoping for an equally satisfying 2018 with, hopefully, much more good news to share and a greater growth before we ring in another New Year.

We would like to thank the public officials, first responders and law enforcement officers who have helped us report the news in 2017 and we thank the citizens who have given us a heads up on what is happening in the communities. We couldn’t do it without any of you, which makes this news source truly a community effort!

Look for some new things coming in 2018, starting with the addition of our “Rainbow Bridge” obituary section. We share the community’s love of animals and grieve along with you when you lose a beloved pet family member. We will be adding the Rainbow Bridge obituary section to Pets to give you place to memorialize that beloved family member when he or she crosses over.

Happy New Year! Looking for great things in the community in 2018!
