Hoping to own a home! Stop by HOPE Monroe’s Expo and find out how

The Walton Barrow Board of Realtors is partnering with HOPE Monroe and the City of Monroe on Saturday for an Expo to help guide those who are hoping to own their own in Monroe to be able to work toward making that hope a reality.

The Community Impact Day & Housing EXPO this Saturday is a free, fun expo that will offer help with everything from reading and building your credit score to purchasing HUD homes. And you can bring the children. Lunch and Childcare will be providing. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 602 E. Church Street in Monroe.

Making Homeownership a Reality is a day of education and family fun for people in Monroe and the surrounding area.  This day of education and family fun for the people of Monroe and the surrounding area includes door prizes, children’s activities and free lunch provided by Brand Bank. 
Sessions include:
-Down payment assistance up to $7500
-How to read and repair your credit
-How to purchase HUD homes
Vendors include:
-Georgia Department of Community Affairs
-USDA
-Homeownership Center and more
