It was a Christmas Parade with a difference in Monroe in 2020

There was very little about this year that was usual, but that didn’t stop the townsfolk in Monroe from enjoying the 2020 Christmas Parade this week. In a year that the parade stood still, and the people moved about, attendees were able to keep a safe distance but still enjoy the sights and sounds of the Christmas season.

Prior to the start of the parade, Elvis impersonator Todd Herendeen made a stop by Monroe Country Day School on Church Street to help warm people up for the revelry to follow.
