Celebrate Walton’s Bicentennial and freedom in the City of Monroe with live music, food, children’s activities and an amazing fireworks display. Band X- Atlanta’s Favorite Party Band is the featured band for the Bicentennial Freedom Celebration along with Angie Lynn Carter and Jason Earl. You definitely do not want to miss this July 4th Celebration in Monroe – it promises to be one of historic proportions. The fun begins at 4 p.m. and doesn’t finish until the fireworks are over. Monroe’s July 4th Freedom Festival takes place at the Athens Tech football field at 212 Bryant Road. The fireworks begin at dark!
