LCA to begin PreK3 program for 3-year-olds in the fall of 2021

press release from Loganville christian academy

Starting in the fall of 2021, Loganville Christian Academy will host its inaugural class of 3-year-old students.

LCA’s PreK3 will emphasize social skills, spiritual concepts, and the earliest building blocks of a more formal educational setting.

“A child’s worldview is developed in these early years and is often set by age 10,” said Lower School Principal Amy McCaulley. “Education infused with the truth of God’s word and a biblical worldview is so important in these elementary years.”

Sara Kell, who currently helps lead LCA’s PreK4 program, will steward the youngest additions to LCA’s student body.

“I absolutely love this age group. Being a mom of four, and working with LCA’s PreK4 students, I’ve seen the wonder in their eyes as they grasp a new concept or master one they’ve already been working on,” Kell said. “And I think learning should be fun– we will be exploring learning through play and hands-on activities. It’s my hope to introduce concepts that will carry them through their schooling with confidence.”

“For years LCA parents have asked us about the possibility of programs for their younger-aged children,” said LCA Board Chairman Andrew Pourchier, “We want to better serve the needs of these families who have 3 year-olds, and we believe this is just the way to do it; through enriching small classroom experiences that help them on their way to becoming great students.”

Enrollment for LCA’s PreK3 class opens on Thursday, January 28. To learn more about Starting in the fall of 2021, Loganville Christian Academy will host its inaugural class of 3-year-old students.
