Local singer Michelle Stringer with patriotic music will be the guest for the July TRIAD meeting Friday

The TRIAD meeting at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 5, 2024 at The Retreat in Loganville will feature a special guest, Michelle Stringer. She is going to sing with a tribute to the Fourth of July.

“She sang for us on Christmas one year and also on Heroes Day,” said Janice Tribble. “She is the owner of Flowers with Love. She has a beautiful voice. You do not want to miss this. Every day we should remember the men who fought for our country. God Bless all who fought and are still serving. Enjoy the Fourth of July. We will also have our regular speakers.”

On the first Friday of every month, local senior citizens gather in the community room at the Retreat at Loganville (formerly Southern Plantation) for the Walton County TRIAD meeting. This gives law enforcement the opportunity to meet with seniors and brief them on what is going on in the community and address some of their safety concerns. City and county officials also give an update on items of interest to residents – and breakfast is served.

“Thank you to The Retreat at Loganville for hosting us! They serve us a delicious breakfast! Please come and join us! You can meet people, make new friends, and enjoy the fellowship,” Tribble said.

The Retreat of Loganville is located at 580 Tommy Lee Fuller Drive in Loganville.

TRIAD was the subject of a feature in one of the previous issues of Walton Living Magazine. To read the history of how it came to Walton County and what it offers seniors in the community, click or tap on this link.
