Local Walton County city judges elected to statewide posts

L-R Georgia Appeals Court Judge Ken Hodges, Judge JaDawnya Baker, Judge Ted Echols, Judge Lori B. Duff, Judge Willie Weaver, and Judge Bubba Samuels.

Walton County judges are being well represented in the state this year.  Monroe Municipal Court Judge Dale “Bubba” Samuels was sworn in as the President of the Council of Municipal Court Judges, and Loganville Court Judge Lori B. Duff was sworn in as Vice President of the organization at the CMCJ annual conference in Savannah on June 21, 2019.

“It will be great to see that Walton County has a voice in the state-wide arena,” said Duff.  “There is a perception that most policy is made with big cities like Atlanta in mind, and Judge Samuels and I are committed to seeing that the majority of the state is represented as well.”

Samuels became Vice President in 2017.  Duff is slated to become President in 2021.
