Loganville Legacy Lions Club donates $1500 to help Shepherd Staff Ministries, Inc.

On June 14th 2018, The Loganville chapter of the Legacy Lions club donated $1,500 to help Shepherd Staff Ministries, Inc. of Loganville, Ga. As Ann Jones said, “We don’t want to ever see children go hungry!”

Shepherd Staff Ministries, Inc., is a 501(c), nonprofit organization providing food, clothing, housing and financial assistance to qualified families in Loganville. The ministry, which began in 2000, supports families while leading them to Christ, and local churches offer much of support in this endeavor. They have a food bank open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am-2pm.

The Legacy Lions Club is a local member of the Lions international service organization founded in 1917. They are best known for fighting blindness, by conducting vision screenings, equipping clinics hospitals and clinics, and raising awareness for eye disease. The club also helps provide food and clothing during natural disasters, gives away grants and scholarships to students, and aids disabled seniors.
