Loganville Police Department collecting items for first responders of Hurricane Florence

The Loganville Police Department is collecting items to benefit the first responders who are dealing with damage left in the wake of Hurricane Florence.

Items can be dropped off at the Loganville Police Department, 605 Tom Brewer Rd., in Loganville.

Items are accepted Tuesday through Friday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Items needed include:

• Water
• Gatorade/Powerade
• Protein bars and non-perishable snack items
• Baby wipes and personal hygiene items
