Low income home energy assistance for qualified local residents

Beginning today, the Partnership for Community Action has new appointments available online to help with low income home energy assistance. The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) offers a one time payment to qualified individuals for their home heating bill. It is available to one heating bill per program year and is available to the communities in Dekalb, Gwinnett, Rockdale, Newton and Walton County only. Qualified residents could get one-time assistance of $310 or $350 toward a home heating bill.

The flyer below gives details on requires for assistance and how to apply should you fall into one of qualified categories.
