MAHS Student 1 of 8 students who won a trip to U. S. Capitol

A Monroe Area High School student was one of eight who recently earned an all-expense paid trip to Washington D.C. as a participant in Walton EMC’s Washington Youth Tour. Presley Rowe, of Monroe, will join the other seven students on the trip.

The Youth Tour was born from the value electric cooperatives, like Walton EMC, place on tomorrow’s leaders.

Those selected receive an experience that includes meetings with state and national leaders, leadership training and visits to major sights of our nation’s capital
