Each week during football season, Georgia Farm Bureau in Monroe is offering a game ball to the Monroe Area High School Varsity player chosen by the coaches as football Player of the Week.
Monroe Area High School’s Player of the Game in their victory versus Hart County was Mason Byron! Mason had yet another Player of the Game performance (his fifth this season!) in the ‘Canes regular season finale. He carried the ball 9 times for 98 yards and two touchdowns, returned a kickoff for a touchdown, and had 17 tackles as well. Great work against Hart County, and great season, Mason! The game ball was delivered by Walton County Farm Bureau agent Lance Thompson.
