Man suffering from gunshot wound flags down private ambulance on Hwy 316

(Lawrenceville, Ga.) Gwinnett County Police are investigating a shooting that was reported when a man flagged down a private ambulance service while traveling in a vehicle on highway 316 at about 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 25. According to a press release from GCPD, the victim called his brother from a Lawrenceville apartment after being shot in the leg. His brother was taking him to Gwinnett Medical Center when the private ambulance was flagged down. Police responded to the scene and the man was transported to the hospital by Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services.
