Elementary Student Art Show


Come see the happiest and most creative show of the year – it will lift your heart!  The show is here until March 18.  We may be able to have a reception outside in the garden on March 18, pay attention to our Facebook page for announcements.  In any case – come see the show; it’s wonderful!

Garden Gnome Workshop



Saturday March 13 at 11 am or 2 pm
$25

Make a hand-built pottery garden gnome (approx. 6” – 8” tall) with Rebecca. You will glaze your gnome, too, and he will be ready in about two weeks.

Two times to choose from: 11 am or 2 pm.  This is not a drop-in class. Registration closes by March 12 or when the class fills.

Fun for all ages!!  Young children will need a parent’s help.

Adult and older teen Classes 
Details for Adult classes can be found HERE on our website.  Teens 16+ are welcome in most of our Adult Classes.  Register at least 24 hours in advance.  Space is limited and classes may fill early.

MWCA Rocks Open Mic Night

Drop by to enjoy some great local music – Performers must pre-register with Zach

Introduction to Woodturning: Penny Plate with Todd Tetterton THREE dates to choose from!! These workshops are almost full!

Paint and Pizza Party with Donna Coffman
ages 6+ — This class has gotten so popular that we’re now holding it twice monthly – 

Saturday, March and March 20 from 12 – 2.  Painting – spring butterfly (see example above) –  $25 includes pizza and painting – Email Donna to register no later than the day before each class donna@monroeartguild.org.  Seating is limited and this class fills quickly – registration closes when the class fills.

Pottery with Rebecca Braswell: 
ages 9+ — Wednesdays from 4:45 – 5:45

ART ASAP 
(After School Arts Program) General Art classes with different projects, tools and emphasis on skills each month. Email Donna to register and pay.  Space is limited.
4 – 5 pm — ages 7 – 9 with Donna Coffman
4 – 5 pm — ages 13 – 18 with Donna Guntharp.
5:16 – 6:15 — ages 9 – 12 with Donna Coffman
