Christmas Gifts from the HeART Open House
Thursday November 12 from 5 – 8 pm
Gift shop hours:
Tues-Wed 11-4 | Thursdays 11 – 8 | Friday & Saturday 10 – 5Join us for special refreshments Thursday,  Nov 12 from 5 – 8 pm. Visit our Gift Shop for the best gifts in town made by 50+ local artists and makers! A festive and fun event for all!

Each purchase of $25 or more during the Open House enters you in a drawing for a $50 gift card to our shop!  You can use this gift card for classes or in the shop!

*Volunteer bakers and hosts are needed to help make this event special for our community – email Hope if you’d like to help!*

TWO Workshops on Saturday 11/14 – Register by Friday.

Two workshops will be held on Saturday – please note that pre-registration is required and seating is limited. Registration closes by the day before (11/13) or when the class fills.

Four-piece Clay Nativity Set – Joseph, Mary, baby Jesus and a lamb –
Saturday, November 14 at 10 am.
$35 to make the lovely and meaningful set with the expert help of Rebecca Braswell.  A fun experience for all ages – Adults, teens and children (will need their parents’ help).  Please note the workshop will be held in the basement pottery studio.

Introduction to Woodturning: Pen Making with Todd Tetterton(photo of some of his projects is above – pen & pencil set is in the plastic case – sorry I didn’t get a good photo!) Just TWO spots open!!
Saturday, November 14 from 9am – noon
In this class you will be provided with the tools, equipment and instruction to allow you to use your creative talents to fashion a pen and pencil set that you will be proud to show your friends and say, “I made this!”  Ages 16+

Adult and older teen Classes for November
Details for Adult classes can be found HERE on our website.  Teens 16+ are welcome in most of our Adult Classes.  Register at least 24 hours in advance.  Space is limited and classes may fill early.

SIP AND PAINT (no teens!) with Donna Coffman:
Friday, November 20 at 7pm – Email Donna to RSVP and get on her “education” email list for advance notice of classes – painting: whimsical owl – see above!

POTTERY with Rebecca Braswell:Wednesdays from 6 – 7:30pm andThursday (full!) and Friday mornings from 10 – 11:30amSix week beginner pottery course: Next course starts December 8. Tuesdays from 6-7:30pm.  Register by emailing Rebecca no classes will be held Thanksgiving week (Nov 23-28)KNITTING with Sandy Blanchard:
First and Third Wednesdays from 12:30 – 1:30

DRAWING with Sandy Blanchard:
Wednesdays from 3 – 4 pm

Introduction to landscape painting with Joe Gargasz: 
Tuesdays at 6:30 – 8 pm for five weeks: 11/10, 11/17, 11/24, 12/1, 12/8 – (registration is closed)

Basic Digital Photography Workshop with Robert Richardson: Dec 12 from 1 – 4 pm

Kids’ Classes

Paint & Pottery and Pizza with Donna and Rebecca:

We invite all our current MEMBERS to our Annual Members’ Meeting on Sunday, Nov 15 from 4 – 5 pm.

1) Approval of two officers to fill interim spots on our board. Joe Gargasz (current president) has appointed these:

Paul Straquadine – vice president
2) Budget will be presented by our treasurer, Nancy Moate
3) Hear about our strategic plan and goals
4) Find out ways you can get involved
5) Meet the board, Q & A session

And some great fellowship time too! Light refreshments served.
