Monroe July City Council meeting will be Thursday, July 6

The City of Monroe will have just one joint July work session and voting session of the City Council at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2017 at City Hall, located on N. Broad Street. The City Council is expected to vote on an ordinance that will allow for golf carts to be allowed, under certain conditions, on city streets with a speed limit of no more than 35 mph. An annual registration fee of $15 will be levied for vehicles that qualify.

The public is invited to attend the meeting.
