Monroe City Council to discuss rezone to bring 122 homes to Church Street

The City of Monroe will have it’s December Committee Work Session and Called Council Meeting at 6 p.m. on Dec. 4 in Council Chambers at City Hall.  The voting session will take place at 6 p.m. next week. The public is invited to attend. Items up for discussion include two rezone applications, one that could bring a storage building development to Breedlove Drive and another that would bring 122 traditional single-family homes to church street on property adjacent to Carver Middle School.
