Members and staff of the Monroe Golf & Country Club presented a $12,500 donation to representatives of the Georgia National Guard during a lunch in the Guardsmen’s honor Wednesday.
The donation will go toward the Guard’s Family Support Foundation, which offers financial assistance to families of deployed Guardsmen.
The club has donated to the Foundation annually for more than 15 years and totals over $100,000 to the cause during that time frame. Pictured left to right, front row, are: Capt. Billy Ferris, Capt.
