Spring is here and with it comes Easter and the annual Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt at the McDaniel-Tichenor House.
This event is sponsored by the Monroe Junior Service League and this year takes place on Friday, March 30. It is free to the community and will include a free Hot Dog Dinner (for the first 250 people) at 7 p.m. with the Egg Hunt for children elementary school age and younger starting at 8 p.m. There will be different areas divided by age, so you can bring little kids and big kids, ages 1-10. Don’t forget your basket and your flashlight for hunting eggs.
The McDaniel-Tichenor House is located at 319 McDaniel Street in Monroe.
