Monroe Market for the 2026 season opens May 2

Winter market will be on March 14 and 28 before pausing for month of April

There are two more winter markets in Monroe, March 14 and 28, before taking a month off to gear up for the spring/summer farmers market in Monroe. The Monroe Market, winter and summer, takes place on Court Street in downtown Monroe.

The Monroe Market is an annual initiative to encourage citizens to buy fresh, locally grown produce and goods. It is operated by its membership of farmers, growers, and artisan vendors with a goal to:

• Provide local growers and artisans an outlet to showcase and market products;
• Publicize the importance of locally grown products;
• Provide opportunities for presentations and demonstrations related to agriculture, gardening, food safety and preparation;
• Allow citizens of Monroe and the surrounding area the opportunity to buy healthy, locally grown products to enhance their quality of lifestyle.

The community is invited visit the market each Saturday during the growing season to enjoy some family friendly activities along with shopping from local farmers and vendors at the market!

The market will be held weekly on Saturdays from 9 am-1 pm beginning May 2nd until Oct. 31st. 

2026 Winter market dates will remain for the 2nd and 4th Saturday in March from 10 am-2 pm.
