Monroe PD Report: Naked male allegedly in dispute on Green Street

The Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Nov. 25 – 30, 2017. Due to the length of this report it has been split into four parts. This is the first part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Dispute New Lacy Street  in reference to the complainant  calling due to the neighbors  disputing outside their residence. Neighbor stated they were arguing over money and bills. Male was not on location – female stated he walked off after the argument. While still on location, Dexter Sims returned at which point I ask for his identification, dispatch ran his info with results showing he had a warrant out of Walton County. The warrant was confirmed and Dexter Sims was placed under arrest and transported to the Walton County Jail without incident.
  • Domestic at Reed Way in reference to complainant wanting tenant to leave the residence.  Explained the eviction process to complainant.
  • Dispute West Creek Cir in reference to son leaving with his father’s vehicle. Father stated he let son borrow the vehicle today. When he returned home father ask for the keys but son did not given them back he instead left the residence again. Father and his younger son  both stated nothing physical took place they both stated no one was arguing. They were advised to call us back if further assistance was needed.
  • Suspicious Persons Mill Stone Bluff in reference to multiple subjects getting out of two vehicles parked in front of the residence talking about a fight and armed with guns. Subjects were seen walking towards Felker Park. There was negative contact with the subjects at Felker Park. Located multiple persons in the roadway on Mill Stone Bluff standing near a maroon GMC Yukon, and a Black Chevy Impala and Black Chrysler 200 were seen blocking the driveway of Mill Stone Bluff. The crowd was dispersed and the subjects were told to move their vehicles. The vehicles were moved and no weapons were seen in plain view. Everything okay.
  • Domestic Masters Drive in reference to son becoming upset at his parents due to not being able to find his medication. Son becomes combative with officers on scene and was arrested.  No acts of Domestic Violence occurred. Son was arrested for disorderly conduct.
  • Suspicious persons Old Mill Point – In reference to several black males on location shooting handguns into the air.  Officer was able to hear a gunshot upon his arrival, however he was not able to determine who fired the shot.  Officer never observe any males with a firearm.
  • Found Property E Spring Street in reference to a wallet being found in the restroom, the wallet was found by an employee at the Short Stop gas station. Contact was made with owner over the Phone who advised he would be back in Monroe to retrieve his wallet around 2230 Hours this date. The wallet was left at the Police Department.
  • Welfare check at  Parkway Place in regards to complainant stating her husband’s girlfriend hit their daughter. Spoke with husband, girlfriend and daughter and all advised no issues. Message was relayed to complainant who was in Rockdale County.
  • Illegal parking at Walmart in regards to people parking in handicap parking without proper display of handicap vehicle. Parking lot was checked on foot and all vehicles parked in handicap locations were properly marked.
  • Suspicious person on W. Spring Street in regards to subject walking in roadway wearing dark clothes. Contact made, all ok. Elderly gentleman walking to Wendy’s for dinner.
  • Dispute E. Spring Street at Dollar General. Complainant stated her fiancés child’s mother came to the store yelling at him about a cell phone and told complainant she would beat her up. Fiancée advised he does not know the name of his child’s mother or where she resides. Incident documented.
  •  Assault, Roosevelt St. Subjects were disputing over property. One of the subject’s stated the other subject punched him in face but no signs of visible injuries or any altercation. He was transported to Clearview Regional Medical Center by EMS and report taken.
  • Reckless vehicle, Walmart in regards to white Ford F-250 reckless in parking lot. Contact made with vehicle and driver. Driver admitted to getting on the gas in the parking lot. Verbal warning on manner of driving and expired registration and sent on his way.
  • Dispute, W. Creek Circle between father and son over car keys. Situation mediated, all ok.
  • Dispute, W. Creek Circle between father and son. again over son not leaving residence. Son was gone prior to arrival.
  • Assault, Lawrence St. in regards to roommate possibly being assaulted by another roommate. Complainant stated he was not sure how he got assaulted but thinks it was roommate. Both parties were advised of eviction process. Due to conflicting stories from both parties, incident documented and a follow-up will be performed.
  • Noise complaint, Cloverdale Drive Large party was taking place and vehicles parked on road. All vehicles moved to legal parking and music turned down.
  • Agency assist, Hubbard St. in regards to Rockdale County Sheriff’s Department trying to make contact with a father due to his 16-year-old son  being intoxicated at party in Rockdale. Negative contact was made
  • Disabled vehicle on W. Spring Street exit ramp from Highway 78 east bound with no lights on. Contact made with silver Lexus in wood line unoccupied. Driver arrived on scene and advised he swerved to avoid hitting deer and vehicle struck tree. Vehicle was removed by towing company, report taken. No report of injury
  • Mental patient East Marable Street – Subject off her medication. She stated she felt she was being abused during the night while she slept by unknown subjects. Turned over to Walton EMS.
  • Stolen Vehicle W Marable Street  in reference to complainant of Florida reporting his white in color Dodge Charger stolen. Complainant is staying here in town with his mother for the holiday weekend. Complainant stated there is a lien on the car and he is two payments behind. Upon further investigation it was discovered the vehicle was repossessed.
  • Suspicious Vehicle at Dollar Tree Parking Lot – Suspects found sleeping inside of vehicle in the parking lot. Both subjects were found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia after assistance from the Walton County K-9. Both subjects advised they were trying to get to the Salvation Army in Athens to get help. Both subjects were released and advised to continue their destination for help with their drug problem. The drug paraphernalia was placed into to evidence for destruction.
  • Dispute West Creek Cir in reference to subjects arguing over the car in the driveway. Aunt let her nephew  and her son  borrow the car and the father was upset about the car being gone. Father stated he wants son out of his home. The eviction process was explained, situation mediated.
  • Dispute Green Street – Complainant stated a naked black male started a dispute with her in the roadway on Green Street. Area was checked with no contact with the naked male subject.
  • Theft report Roosevelt street – Complainant advised on this date between the hours of 0200 and 1140 an unknown person entered his residence through his bedroom window that was already broken from hurricane Irma and took his new jacket from his closet.
