The Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Feb. 22 – March 1, 2018. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the fourth part. Please note and arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
- Dispute Southside Mobile Home Park. Resident advised was all was ok that there was a misunderstanding as to the location of her items. All ok.
- Vehicle Accident West Spring Street/Breedlove Drive: 2 Vehicles. Complaint of injury by the passenger, Kenyonus Card, in vehicle 2. EMS arrived and transported to Clearview. Card arrested for WCSO warrant.
- Agency Assist at Reed Way in reference to Walton County DFCS attempting to make contact with a couple. Spoke with homeowners, and advised the two no longer live at the address. 10-4
- Suicide Threats Nowell St. Subject made suicidal threats on Facebook. She voluntarily went with her father to Ridgeview.
- Suspicious vehicle: Walton Truck Stop. Female in a passenger car appears to be intoxicated. While en route the vehicle went west on Hwy 78. Negative contact.
- Meet with Officer Masters Drive, Mother called in reference to her daughter witnessing a student make threats to shoot up Youth Middle School after being bullied and slapped in the face. WCSO notified and responded. Investigation turned over to WCSO due to the incident occurring outside the City and the subject resides outside of the City.
- Dispute Old Mill Point/Wheelhouse Lane in reference to multiple subjects disputing over something that took place earlier this date. Negative contact with any parties.
- Burglary in progress East Washington street. Complainant advised that subject was kicking her door in. He made entry into the residence and struck her multiple times in the face in front of her children. Subject was gone when officers arrived. Report taken. Warrants to be taken.
- Follow Up East Washington Street. Complainant from above call advised subject came back to the location trying to fight everyone on location. GOA
- 911 Hang Up Thompson Ridge Dr., Contact made with residents, all okay. Juvenile child playing with phone.
- Area Check Michael Etchinson/ GWA, Anonymous complainant stated a large box was by the roadway. Located a small empty cardboard box, it was removed from the roadway.
- Suspicious Person Sherwood Dr., Neighbor called in reference to an unknown one armed male subject standing in the backyard. Conducted area check with negative contact. Neighbor was informed to call 911 again if any further suspicious activity occurred.
- Dispute Plantation Dr. Complainant disputing with husband Bennie Anderson. Bennie arrested for two counts of Simple Battery.
- Domestic. Jessica Way, complainant said her child’s father showed up at her residence accusing her of lying. Complainant said child father became violent and left physical marks on her person and damage to a wall. Unable to make a positive ID on child’s father as the name complainant gave does not return on GCIC and Spillman does not reflect a name and DOB given.
- Domestic Dispute, Tanglewood Dr. Made contact with mother. Mother stated that her sons were fighting their father. One son was referred to juvenile court report taken.
- Domestic Dispute, Davis St., couple disputing over relationship issues. Both parties would not provide adequate information on the incident. Report taken due to parties being in a relationship and having lived together.
- Warrant Attempt, Maple Way, Officer was in the area conducting an area check when he noticed Ahsante Davis walking from his car. The Officer was familiar that the subject had active warrants. A perimeter was set up and the subject never exited the house. After acquiring a copy of the warrant from the Sheriff’s Office, forced entry was made and subject was located upstairs in a bedroom. He was safely taken into custody and transported to the WCSO on a warrant for Criminal Trespass.
- Shoplifting, West Spring St. (Goody’s), reference to two B/F leaving the store and setting the theft detector off. Store Manager asked them to stop and let him look in their bag. The two left in a white Nissan Sentra toward downtown. After manager spoke with the asset protection manager, he declined a report. Ok.
- Stolen Vehicle, Old Mill Pt., complainant advised that she left her vehicle at Felker Park on Saturday due to mechanical issues. She advised she returned today to retrieve the vehicle and saw that it was gone. No record of the vehicle being repossessed or impounded. Report Taken and will be entered onto GCIC
- Burglary in Progress, Armistead Circle, complainant said she saw a white truck with people exit and go to her basement door and enter into her house. Subjects were looking for address given and walked into what they thought was a relative’s home. All ok.
- Harassment, Carver Place, reference to complainant stating her cousin is harassing her about a will her deceased father left. Report taken.
- Juvenile complaint, Mountain View Dr., complainant stated that a male is driving a dirt dike up and down the street. conducted an area check with negative contact.
- Suspicious Vehicle, Highway 78 West/Charlotte Rowell Blvd, Tag# given, pulled a gun on complainant. Vehicle parked at Walmart Row 9. Complainant advised they would call back if they wanted to file a report.
- Theft, Baron Dr., unknown B/M wearing a red jacket and white pants stole complainants Iphone after an altercation at the house. Officer checked the area with no contact
- Juvenile Problem, Wheel House Lane, mother stated she took a phone from her son for his punishment. The phone is now gone from the Mothers bedroom. Son stated one of the other 7 children in the home may have hid it. Mediated. All ok
- Gas Drive Off, E Spring St. White male drove off in a blue truck bearing tag # given after taking $3.00 gas. Contact was made with owner of truck and she advised her son was driving the truck and she would have him pay the gas. Son thought he had paid and did not. All was ok
- Road Rag, East Spring St./Baker St., Met with complainant who stated a male in a black Dodge truck pulled a gun on him while driving. Spoke to the driver of the black Dodge who stated the complainant almost wrecked into him. Driver of dodge gave permission to search his vehicle. No gun was located. Spoke to both parties and determined it was a misunderstanding. All okay
- Dispute, South Broad St., Met with complainant, reference to a verbal dispute that he had earlier this date with a female at Cook Pl. There was no crime committed and no family violence connections. Complainant advised of the TPO process.
- 911 Hang Up, Radford St., Officer spoke to resident who advised all okay
- Phone Call, South Broad St., mother stated her adult son went missing around 2100 the previous evening and suffers from mental illness. Son was located in Loganville shortly after the phone call ended, mother advised she was en route to pick him up.
- Child Custody, WCSO was on location with a court order to take primary custody of his son. The mother resides at Wall Street Apartments. Officers attempted to make contact at her residence with negative contact. Officers contact Gwinnett County to see if an Officer could check a relative’s address.
