Monroe PD Reports: Indecent exposure and stolen vehicle recovered out of county

The following are the incidents reported by the Monroe Police Department between March 3 – 9, 2017. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the first part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Domestic problem, N. Madison Ave., Two subjects in a verbal dispute.  Situation mediated. Parties separated.  All ok.
  • Stopping suspicious vehicle/arrest. East Vine St., Regina Middleton arrested for Hart County warrants.
  • Suspicious person, Alcovy St., Male subject on location washing cars.  He went inside and grabbed a beer and the American Legion told him that he had to leave the property. Subject was gone when officers arrived. Negative contact.
  • Agency assist, Landers St., Ref: animal control retrieving two pit bulls from residence due to them not meeting minimum requirements to keep them.  All ok.
  • Stolen vehicle report at Johns Supermarket, complainant advised her White Accord was stolen from Church’s Chicken.  Negative contact with the complainant at Johns or Church’s. Negative contact via phone.
  • Domestic problem, Bell St. Verbal dispute between brothers.  Both parties intoxicated.  Parties separated.  All ok.
  • Stolen Vehicle, Church’s Chicken, complainant stated his niece drove his 1998 Honda Civic to Monroe Food Mart at 1430 hours today and left the keys in the vehicle.  Unknown black male entered vehicle and took off.  Vehicle was located abandoned in Richmond County.
  • Runaway Juv. At Lake View Dr., female suspect to be at this address.  Made contact with female who stated she had telephone contact with suspect earlier this day in Athens and that is her current location.
  • Citizen Assist, Manor Place.  Home Owner needed assistance from officer for an online purchase that was being made at her residence.
  • Domestic at Pure gas station.  Reference two subject’s in a verbal dispute while driving. One subject advised they were arguing over something stupid.  One subject pulled her keys out of the ignition and slammed her door.  Both agreed with each other.
  • Armed Robbery, Wheelhouse Lane, husband came home to find a man in his house with his wife.  He got into an altercation with the man.  The man left and came back shortly after and pushed his way into the residence to get weed and his wallet he left behind.  Then stole an air compressor.  Only known as “Alex” and possible former military.  Blood samples was collected from the residence to identify “Alex” by uniform patrol.  CID notified.   FIT conducted a search of the residence and found a schedule 4 narcotic.  Husband claimed the narcotic and was charged with it.  Female charged with possession of marijuana.
  • Welfare Check, Douglas St., male subject is a missing person out of the county and the county requested we check the residence for him.  Male subject does not live on location and no one at the residence knowns anybody by that name.
  • Suspicious Vehicle, Overlook Trail Reference a black SUV parked across from the complainant’s residence.  Vehicle left the area.
  • Traffic Stop on Mayfield Drive Benjamin Patmon arrest on aggravated Stalking Warrant. Supplemental to original report.
  • Juvenile Complaint, Maple St., complainant involved in a dispute with male subject.  When complainant notified the police subject fled on foot.
  • Accident/arrest, Mayfield Dr., single vehicle accident.  Driver fled on foot.  Omar Singleton was arrested on Mayfield Drive at Plaza Driving while unlicensed, FTML, leaving the scene of an accident, and warrant’s out of Monroe and Walton County.
  • Dispute, E. Church St., complainant advised that people in the barber shop were accusing him of stealing a bicycle.  Subjects were just joking with complainant.  All ok.
  • Damage to property, Big Lots, Ref: Complainant advised that her vehicle window was busted by a water balloon.  No report requested.
  • Harassment, All-Star / Bold Springs Rd., worker stated that male subject showed his penis to her at work (Farmers Furniture).  Male subject confessed that he did said act to the manager.  Report taken and warrants pending.
