Monroe PD Reports: Juvenile reports mom for not letting him go to cousin’s house

The following are the incidents reported by the Monroe Police Department between July 20 – 21, 2017. Due to the length, this report has been split into four parts. This is the third part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Civil Issue, Parkway Place, and complainant let girlfriend drive his vehicle and she has not brought it back. Civil issues and options explained.
  • Wanted Person, West Marable Street. Complainant who wanted to stay anonymous said Terry Lucas was at the residence and had warrants from Walton and Paulding County. Made contact with Terry Lucas and arrested.
  • Suspicious Person, Chestnut Lane, complainant said vehicle was parked in the yard and he does not know who it belongs too. Spoke with the owner on Claywell Circle. Owner said vehicle broke down and she is getting it removed in the morning.
  • Suspicious Vehicle, at South Madison Avenue – Felker Park in reference to a dark green Jeep occupied by 3 white males, circling the parking lot. All ok the subjects were playing soccer upon officer arrival.
  • Dispute, Turner Street, complainant advised female subject has been staying in his back apartment for approximately one month and hasn’t paid any rent. Advised of remedies.
  • Dispute, Landers Street, male subject and Cassandra Malcom were verbally disputing. Cassandra was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Walton County. Supplemental added to original case report.
  • Suspicious Person in the area of Woodland Road, complainant reported a man riding a lawnmower down the roadway. Area checked with negative contact.
  • Dispute, Turner Street, female subject from earlier call advised she was assaulted by male subject with a broom stick. Male subject advised female attempted to stab him with a screwdriver and he shoved her off with a broomstick. Conflicting stories and no 3rd party witnesses.
  • Threats, Lawrence St., complainant advised his landlord threatened to evict him via phone. Civil process explained. Report requested.
  • Meet in Person, Turner Street, and Subject wanting to meet with officer in reference to car dealership not turning in his vehicle information to tag office. Advised of remedies.
  • Domestic report taken at South Broad St., MPD, and complainant advised she and her boyfriend have been having issues and live in his mother house. She had questions regarding their future.
  • Harassment, Etten Dr., complainant reported anonymous subjects messaging her on Facebook. Advised how to make profile private.
  • Found Property, Store House Ct., complainant advised she found a 40 caliber clip in the front bedroom closet as she was moving in the apartment. The clip along with ten 40 caliber rounds was placed into evidence at MPD.
  • Suspicious Person, South Broad St. at Victory Dr. in reference to a female wearing a light shirt with blue jean shorts acting intoxicated. Area checked with negative contact.
  • Fraud, West Spring St., SunTrust Bank. Reginal Hunter arrested for attempting to cash a fraudulent check. Warrants to be taken.
  • Welfare Check, South Madison Ave.in reference to meeting with DFCS regarding the welfare of a 1-year old child.
  • Suspicious Person at The Hot Spot. Possibly male subject with active warrants. Upon arrival Officers observed subject walk into the wood line, negative contact with him after that.
  • Dispute, Walker Dr. in reference to a black Lexus and the occupants arguing. Made contact with male subject on Walker Dr and he advised his girlfriend opened the door while he was driving and got out of the car. Contact was made with girlfriend who stated she didn’t want to argue any longer and got out of the car and was walking home. All ok.
  • Trespassing, North Broad St., black male entered through an unsecured window on property. Black male fled the scene when approached by hotel staff. An area check was conducted and was met with negative results.
  • Suspicious Vehicle, North Jackson St., made contact with the owner on Walton Street who is the registered owner. She advised the transmission went out and she is going to have it towed the next date. All ok.
  • Suspicious Person at Monroe Motor Inn in reference to a white male yelling at people in the parking lot. Conducted an area check for the male and was met with negative results.
  • Discharge Firearm, Poplar Ct., in reference to several black males at the Church of God where several gun shots were heard from. All persons were gone when officers arrived and negative contact during a search of the area.
  • Suspicious Person at the Truck Stop in reference to a white female hanging around. Female was driven to the Monroe Motor Inn.
  • Dispute, E Tall Oaks Dr. in reference to male subject and Deanna Brown disputing. Ms. Brown was gone when officers arrived and the Mr. Brown was located at the resident. Mr. Brown was arrested on Family Violence Battery.
  • Narcotics, S Broad Street / Atha Street Travis Malcom and Paige Head arrested for multiple narcotics charges.
  • Damage to Property, Perry Street, and damage to complainant’s 1998 Infinity which occurred during the day time hours.
  • Suspicious Person, South Broad St., female subject sitting on owner’s front porch. Owner advised she could not stay on location. Female subject was sent on her way.
  • Theft, West Spring St. Wendy’s. Manager believes female employee stole $160 from the safe, which she was terminated for. There’s no surveillance cameras in the area and requested a police report.
  • Suspicious Person on Atha Street in reference to a suspicious female looking into a vehicle. Officer made contact with Shelia Sagniar, advised her of the loitering laws, and transported to Clearview for an evaluation.
  • Entering Auto, Glen Iris Dr., complainant Advised someone entered his vehicle last night and stole his PlayStation 4. No signs for forced entry. Report taken
  • Entering Auto, Bold Springs Avenue. Unsecured vehicle entered sometime during the night. Laptop case with misc. papers were taken from vehicle.
  • Fraud, South Broad St., Wells Fargo. Reginald Hunter came in yesterday around 1530 hours and tried to pass a fraudulent check for $3800 from someone’s personal account. Subject was arrested late date at SunTrust Bank. More charges to be taken
  • Suspicious Person, South Broad Street, John’s Supermarket, reported a suspicious black male entered the store, asked to cash a $1,859.00 check. The subject was advised they could not cash and he stayed in the parking lot for approximately 30 minutes. Subject was gone upon officer arrival.
  • Dispute, Radford Street, male and female subjects disputing over property.
  • Trespassing, Bryant Road, complainant advised two teens approached his vehicle last night and was caught by his trail camera. No entry made into his vehicle. Photographs attached with incident report.
  • Domestic, Cook Street, caller advised him and his boyfriend were physically fighting earlier and his boyfriend attempted to break the television. No marks seen on caller to confirm the altercation.
  • Harassment, report taken at South Broad St., MPD, and complainant reported a named female is harassing her via Facebook and Snap Chat.
  • Damage to Property, report taken at South Broad Street, MPD, complainant lives on West Creek Circle and while she was gone for approximately 2 hours today, someone threw a rock in her window.
  • Dispute, Baron Drive, complainant in verbal dispute with male subject accusing him of stealing his one ounce of marijuana. Male subject denied stealing the drugs. Male subject left on foot
  • Suspicious Person, Ridge Road, male subject in parking lot saying he is a Private Investigator requesting to sit in their parking lot until 1900 hours this evening. Staff concerned for their safety and would like him identified. Location checked with negative contact.
  • Welfare Check, Baron Dr. in reference to checking on employee. Employer has not heard from him today. Contact made and he advised he would call his boss.
  • Juvenile Complaint, Pineview Drive. in reference to juveniles walking in the area. Contact made with the juveniles in the parking lot of Shops of Breedlove. Juveniles identified.. All ok.
  • Domestic, West Marable Street, complainant wanted us to talk to her 16-year-old cousin who she has guardianship of about using drugs.
  • Entering Auto, Magnolia Terrace, negative on entering auto. Owner advised a kid name given caused the previous damage to his Cadillac. Supplemental added to original report.
  • Juvenile Complaint, Magnolia Street son advised he was upset because his mother wouldn’t let him go to his cousin house. The son was advised he was a juvenile and had to obey his mother.
  • Threats, E Church Street, complainant advised four unknown white males driving a black in color convertible passenger car pulled into her driveway today around 1530 hours. The males threatened to shoot her in the head with a gun if she did not go back inside her residence. Complainant request extra patrol for her residence
  • Dispute, at Rose Ison Terrace, in reference to a male and a female fighting at the playground. Spoke to several residences sitting on their porch near the playground who stated they did not see or hear any fighting in the area. Area check of surrounding area was met with negative results.
  • Wanted Person Located, N Broad/Sorrells Streets. John Lawson arrested for Suspended License, Expired Registration and he also had an active warrant for Aggravated Battery.
  • Theft, Hubbard Street, complainant stated his phone was taken off the front porch of his residence. He stated he suspects his neighbor (name given) took his phone and wanted her trespassed from his property. Contact was made with neighbor who stated she wanted the complainant trespassed from her property. Both subjects were criminally trespassed from each other’s property. No report requested for the missing cell phone.
  • Missing Person, Reed Street in reference to female subject not returning home. Upon officer’s arrival to the location, female subject had arrived back home safe. All was ok.
  • Wanted Person Located, N Broad Street – Officer ran the vehicles tag on GCIC and a return came back showing an active warrant on the owner of the vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was arrested for the active warrant.
  • Prowler, Cloverdale Dr. in reference to an unknown person at her window of her house. An area check was conducted on foot and in patrol vehicles and negative contact was made with any suspicious subjects.
  • Traffic Stop, S Broad Street. /S Madison Ave. Tiana Ingram and Terrianna Atkinson arrested for an active warrant and driving on a suspended license.
  • Suspicious Person, Pinecrest Dr., complainant advised he was outside smoking and observed a black male walk up to his cars and was looking inside of them. The male then ran off into the woods after complainant yelled at him. An area check was conducted and negative contact was made.
  • Dispute, Lopez Lane. Dispute between Carlos Garnados and two other subjects. Mr. Garnados arrested for Battery and Criminal Trespassing.
  • Dispute, South Madison Ave., complainant and male subject involved in a verbal argument. Parties separated due to male subject being GOA. All ok.
  • Dispute, Bridgeport Lane. Bulldog Recovery on location attempting to repossess a vehicle. Owner of the vehicle got inside of the car and drove off. He later returned and the vehicle was turned over to Bulldog Recovery.
  • Citizen flag down officer on Charlotte Rowell and Highway 138. Ref to a suspicious vehicle at Wal-Mart. Located matching vehicle occupied by Renee Breland, noticed her pupils were pinpoint, Breland refused consent to search and k9 was not available. Contacted registered owner who arrived on scene and gave consent to search. GSP arrived and conducted field sobriety. Breland was arrested for driving under the influence – drugs, and position of scheduled 4 substances. Second occupant of vehicle was gone when officers arrived.
  • Damage to property, Tanglewood Drive complainant reports scratches down the driver’s side of her vehicle.
  • Stopping suspicious vehicle/arrest, Pine Park and Lacy St. Chadwick Branch arrested for DWLS and no seatbelt. ROC.
  • Domestic dispute, South Madison Ave. and East Church St., father advised his daughter and granddaughter got into an altercation while driving and the daughter put the granddaughter out of the car and that the daughter was driving around on a CP license. Parties separated and report completed.
  • Dispute, Kingsridge Dr., complainant advised a new neighbor moved in and was disputing over property lines. Survey company responded and he wanted to make police aware, all ok.
  • Suspicious person, Atha St. contact made with female who advised she was homeless and on the way to the Walton County Courthouse, given escort.
  • Fight call, Maple St., male subject and unknown male fighting inside house for unknown reasons. Unknown male fled out back door after fight. Nothing damaged in the house, male subject declined report
  • Domestic problem, North Midland Ave. Contact made with female who was walking away from the residence and advised she did not call. Negative contact with anyone at the residence but there was a strong odor of 38D (drugs) coming from residence. Neighbor advised named male is the residence and is a dealer and fights with a female at the residence all the time.
