Monroe PD Reports: Police called to remove rat

The following are the incidents reported by the Monroe Police Department between Feb.10 – 16, 2017. Due to the length, this report has been split into four parts. This is the second part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Other law, Jessica Way, Complainant had a large rat in she had trapped and was upset and requested officers to remove it. Rat disposed of. All ok.
  • Unknown call, Pine Park St., call came in from Conyers advised someone was in distress next to Pine Park. Checked area on foot with negative contact with anyone needing police. All ok.
  • Dispute, Meadow Walk Dr., the complainant advised his sister’s husband came by his residence today and they have been separated since January.  Complainant sister advised she is filing for divorce. Contact was made with husband by phone and he stated he needed to get the address to the residence to file divorce papers. All parties advised of remedies. Report filed for documentation purposes. Husband was advised not to drive by the residence or have any contact with the residents.
  • Dispute verbal, E. Fambrough St., complainant disputing with female subject. Complainant was issued a citation for public intoxication and advised to stay inside the residence.
  • Unknown/Assault x 3, Bell Street and Davis Street; intoxicated caller left vague information about needing police, negative contact.  Actually intoxicated male subject located who said he was beat up on Davis Street by named male subject for messing with his girlfriend.  Report made.
  • Firearms Discharged at Baron Drive near Eagles Ct; Comp advised hearing someone shooting, negative contact after area check.
  • Suspicious Vehicle, Hwy 78 Westbound at Hwy 138; Vehicle failing to maintain lane, vehicle was stopped by WCSO, female was not intoxicated, warned of manner of driving.
  • Damage to Property, Sake Express; male and female subjects is disputing, dent made in female vehicle by male who threw a beer can at vehicle, report made.
  • Stopping suspicious vehicle, Towler Street at Skyview; Subject ran a stop sign and had a suspended license, cited, fingerprinted at the PD, vehicle towed by Jays, released on citation.
  • Domestic problem, Nowell Street; male and female’s arguing over male unplugging the TV.  All ok.  Male subject left for the night.
  • Domestic problem, Davis Street; complainant stated that his ex-wife was calling, harassing him over another woman.  All ok.
  • Accident, Harris St; complainant advised a vehicle crashed into a wall and fled scene.  John Wilkins was later located and arrested for multiple citations.
  • Juvenile Complaint, Parklake Ct; two juveniles snuck out of the house, later returned.
  • Domestic problem, Sherwood Drive; neighbor advised hearing a verbal altercation on Sherwood Drive, residents living in a shed out back advised they were fine and the arguing was not them, nobody else on location.
  • Missing Person, S. Broad St. (Home care), missing person since 2330 hours last date. White male has medical tendencies, was recently released from state mental prison. Subject may be wearing red jogging pants and a dark sweatshirt. Subject is 5’10” tall with blue eyes approximately 200 lbs. Place on GCIC. USE CAUTION WHEN DEALING WITH SUBJECT.
  • Possible domestic problem, Chestnut Lane, transferred from Rockdale County. Contact made at residence and was advised female subject and an unknown female were disputing at approximately 0700 hours. All parties were GOA.
  • Officer’s called to Walton County Jail Lobby, reference to male complainant advising he hasn’t heard from his fiancé of Mansfield. Complainant advised fiancé may be with a friend on Creekview Drive. Officers checked the address, and were able to make contact with fiancé. Fiancé advised she was ok and just didn’t want anyone to know where she is.
  • Dispute, Shamrock Dr., unknown subject on location attempting to place blame for the fire yelling about the subjects inside the residence. Subject was gone.  Called in by named subject.
  • Warrant Attempt, S. Broad St., officer had visual on Jamario Roseberry and Christy Stone, both subjects showed warrants out of Walton County S.O. Located subject inside residence. Arrested and Transported and turned over to Walton County Jail.
  • Child custody dispute, Davis St., complainant advised that named subject wasn’t complying with their verbal agreement in reference to check custody. He requested the incident be documented. Report taken.
  • Harassment, Towler Street; 16-year-old female stated that she was grabbed at Felker Park by her friend 18-year-old male subject, male subject located and he denied grabbing her.  Report made.
  • Wanted Service, Ridge Rd; Ashley Hillard was located and transported to Barrow County for Probation Violation.
  • 911 Hang-up/Juvenile Complaint at Southside Mobile Home Park; Juveniles in the park throwing rocks etc… Juvenile located at lot advised to cease.  All ok.
  • Fire Assist, Plaza Drive; Granddaughter took female subject from Residence, possible medical alert.  Fire Capt. requested a report.
  • Stopping suspicious Vehicle and Towed at W. Spring Street and Carwood Dr; female subject cited. For driving without headlights on, no valid insurance, vehicle towed by towing co.
  • Misc, White Oak Drive; Comp is mother of the fire victim from Shamrock, wanted extra patrol for residence in case of theft.
  • Suspicious Vehicle, leaving Walmart eastbound on 78; comp advised that 5 minutes prior to call, a Honda accord with unsecured juveniles were in the back.  Negative contact.
  • Damage to Property, Hubbard Street; Comp advised that he believes his neighbor went over to his house and damaged his solar lights in his yard, in violation criminal trespass warning.  Neighbor located and he denied going next door, report made.
  • Warrant, Hubbard Street;  while investigating the criminal trespass, Betty Yother was on location with a valid Barrow County warrants, Probation Violation, transported to Barrow.
  • Warrant, Transport from Barrow County Jail;  Freddie Malcom Jr and Tori Gresham transported to Walton County Jail.
  • Harmful Attempt, Glen Iris Drive; 38 year old female took a bunch of medication, transported by EMS, report taken.
  • Juvenile Complaint, Birch Street in reference to juvenile daughter not wanting to go to school – Walnut Grove High School. Contact made with juvenile who was getting ready for school.
  • Suspicious Vehicle on Highway 11 in reference to a blue pickup truck unable to maintain lane. WCSO stopped vehicle prior to MPD’s arrival.
  • Assault report taken at the Monroe Police Department. Complainant advised named male subject assaulted her on the 12th at 0230 hours. No marks on complainant from the incident, not domestic related. Advised of warrant process
