Monroe PD Reports: Student expelled after making threats on social media

The Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents between April 6 – 12, 2018. Due to the length, the report has been split into five parts. This is the second part. Please note that an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • EMS Assist, South Broad St., reference to a male unconscious with CPR in progress. Male was dead on arrival. CID was notified and responded. Corner was notified and responded.
  • Dispute, Magnolia Terrace, Anonymous caller stated a female at the residence was assaulted.  Upon arrival, all females on location were ok.  Female subject was possibly assaulted by named give of subject who had already left the scene. Female was very uncooperative and stated nothing happened and did not know anything. 
  • Dispute, Rose Ison Terrace, complainant advised she had further information about the hit and run with her vehicle. She advised the vehicle was a Cutlass driven by name given whom has been residing with his girlfriend at Rose Ison Terrace. Negative contact with the vehicle and male subject. Supplemental added.
  • Shoplifting, East Spring St., female subject said a white female, approx. 70 years old, went to get money from the ATM and then left the store with approx. $40 worth of merchandise. Manager not on location to review camera.
  • Meet with Subject, Bryant Rd., reference to speaking with complainant about his friend having to ride his bicycle on the sidewalk to avoid being hit by a vehicle (tag number given).  The subject that was ran off of the road was not on location.  Complainant stated he wanted to advise the police to help look out for bicyclist. 
  • Lost Item, North Broad St.  Complainant stated he lost the tag (number given) off of his trailer after leaving the Walton County Recycling Plant.  Noticed driving home that it was missing.  Report requested. 
  • Welfare Check, King St.  caller requested a welfare check on her daughter due to not having contact with her.  Contact was made with the daughter and was asked to call her mother. She appeared to be ok at the time of the call.
  • Juvenile/Molestation, South Broad St., complainant said her 11-year-old nephew walked in on her 5-year-old nephew on her 5-year-old son. All juveniles were okay. Notified CID.
  • Juvenile, Hampton Dr., student made threats on social media. Expelled from school. Served with prohibited entry for George Walton Academy.
  • Illegal Parking, Sorrells St., reference to complainant calling because someone parked a car in her parking spot. The vehicle was moved by the owner all ok.
  • Trespassing, Douglas St., complainant advised multiple subjects were inside the residence.  Residence was cleared by Officers with nobody inside.
  • Vehicle Pursuit, East Marable St/ North Broad St., officer conducted a traffic stop on a Nissan Sentra (Tag # given) Vehicle fled and was located by Loganville PD. Vehicle was stolen from G.W. Carver Dr. Suspects still at large. CID notified, supplemental report added
  • Disturbing the Peace, Plaza Dr., Spoke with complainant who is having problems with an elderly female that lives above her. Said female continues to make loud noise keeping complainant awake at night. Made contact with elderly female who seems to have dementia. Informed complainant to speak to her landlord to solve problem.
  • Mental Subject, South Broad St., reference to son walking south on Broad St.  not listening to his father. Once Officers had contact with the son he began to have a seizure. EMS was called to the scene and the son was transported to Piedmont Walton.
  • Suspicious vehicle on HWY 78 and N Broad St. Caller advised of a wrong way driver on 78. Conducted an area check was unable to locate.
  • Suspicious Activity, Cook St., caller advised subjects were arguing on location. Made contact with female who advised all was oaky.
  • Assault, Monroe Motor Inn, met with complainant who advised he was in an altercation at Cook Place and Perry Evans stabbed him. Mr. Evans was arrested for Aggravated Assault.
  • Fight, East Church St at High School Ave. Upon arrival 100 plus juveniles were standing in the parking lot. No active fight, all juveniles were advised to disperse and return home.
  • Lost Property, MLK Blvd (GNC). Spoke with complainant who stated that she lost the business check, while she was on her way home. Report taken.
  • Shots Fired, Glen Iris Dr., spoke to complainant who advised as he was exiting his truck he heard bullets going over his head and gunshots. The gunshots were coming from Turner Street. Officers walked Turner Street and did not locate and casings. Area residents stated Turner Street is where the shots came from. Nobody lives on location.
  • Prowler, Mobley Cir., complainant advised that she heard someone knocking on her front door. She did not go and see who it was, conducted an area check no one was found walking the area.
