Monroe PD Reports: Theft, burglaries, domestic and sexual assaults

The following are the incidents reported by the Monroe Police Department between Aug. 11 – 17, 2017. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the first part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
  • Domestic, Green Street in reference to complainant in a physical dispute with male subject regarding her not giving him her cell phone. Male threw Female down and pushed her face, leaving a busted lip. Two (2) juveniles witnessed the incident. Warrants to be taken for Batter –FV and Cruelty to Children x’s 2.
  • No Insurance on Highway 78, driver driving vehicle with no valid insurance coverage. Vehicle towed by towing company.
  • Suspicious Vehicle, Baker Street in reference to a tan GMC Yukon abandoned behind the residence. Property owner will have vehicle towed.
  • Theft, East Washington Street, complainant advised named female took her $440 from her on July 1st to pay her light bill and never paid it, but used the money for her light bill instead.
  • Suspicious Vehicle in front of Tanglewood Drive. Caller advised vehicle been on location for approximately one (1) month and hasn’t moved. Contact made with the vehicle owner family and advised to have it moved or it would be towed from the roadway.
  • Domestic, Harris Street, complainant disputing with two subjects. Parties separated.
  • Sexual Assault, West Spring Street – Sims Gas. Mother approached officer on location regarding a sexual assault. Mother advised her seven (7) year-old son explained oral sex because another juvenile did that to him and he was made to do that to the other juvenile. Further investigation revealed incident occurred in another jurisdiction, Dacula, and referred to their agency for further investigation.
  • Hit & Run at the Dollar Tree. Complainant advised she was inside the store and when she returned to her vehicle she noticed the passenger side rear bumper had been damaged.
  • Burglary, Store House Court. Complainant advised someone entered his house this date between 1145 and 1320 hours and removed two (2) flat screens, PlayStation 4, Draco AK47 and four (4) pair of Nike shoes. No serial numbers to place any of the items on GCIC as stolen.
  • Burglary, Mill Stone Bluff. Complainant advised she witnessed an unknown black male as the maintenance guy pulling out of her driveway when she returned home. The subject was on location retrieving paint and ladder left from last week. She noticed $150 missing from her TV stand in the living room. Property manager advise she doesn’t know who retrieved the paint supplies.
  • Dispute, Douglas Street in reference to complainant on location advising female was attempting to move a trailer that belonged to his client. Supplement added to original report.
  • Suspicious Person in the area of Clearview Drive. Complainant advised two females seen looking into a residence left in a silver tone Chevrolet Blazer.
  • Harassment complainant taken at South Broad Street – Monroe Police Department. Complainant advised named female continues slandering her name in public. Offered to call named female and explained the TPO process. Complainant stated she just wanted a report.
  • Suspicious Vehicle, East Fambrough Street – Hillcrest Apartments. Complainant advised a green Ford Expedition continues to ride through the complex. The suspects the subjects are involved with 38D activity.. Area checked with negative contact.
