Monroe PD Reports: Woman claims to be pregnant by dad, brother…. and a ghost

The following are the incidents reported by the Monroe Police Department between June 9 – 15, 2017. Due to the length, this report has been split into four parts. This is the first part. Please note and arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Dispute, East Church St., male and female arguing over a car battery. Situation resolved prior to officer arrival, parties separated.
  • Missing person reported at 116 South Broad St., MPD. 18-year-old female missing since Tuesday, possibly with new boyfriend her mother does not like. Made contact with female at Monroe Motor Inn with boyfriend, all ok. Advised she did not want to live with mother anymore.
  • Agency assist, South Broad St., MPD. Conyers Police Department and Rockdale Sheriff’s Office in lobby requesting marked unit to go to Ash Street with them. Assisted by Walton County Sheriff’s Office.
  • Suspicious person, East Spring St., Monroe Motor Inn. Male subject was advised to get a room or leave the property, all ok.
  • Damage to property on South Broad St., Walgreens, complainant reports damage to a vehicle yesterday, unknown where damage occurred.
  • EMS assist, Community Ct. Boys and Girls Club. Ref to w/f unconscious in a running vehicle in the parking lot. Female sleeping in vehicle declined medical attention.
  • Dispute/damage to property, South Broad St., complainant stated someone has been driving though his rental property. Complainant blames the neighbors. Spoke to them and they advised they had not been doing it, ongoing issue, all ok.
  • Juvenile complaint, Store House Ct. 16-year-old female being unruly. Juvenile arrested for unruly. Complaint filed and sent to juvenile.
  • Theft report, North Broad St., Katy’s Downtown Dinner. Employer advised approximately  $89.50 missing from till. Possible suspect named
  • Loud music, West Creek Cir. Someone washing car while listing to music, turned down, all ok.
  • Suspicious person, 6th St. Ref to w/m checking doors and windows on vacant property. Residence checked ok
  • Threats report in the area of Lacy St., complainant said two females have made threats to fight her for no reason. Complainant wanted to avoid problems and requested a report.
  • Juvenile complaint taken at 116 South Broad St., MPD. Juvenile jumped out of vehicle after parents picked her up from the PD.
  • Dispute, South Broad St., Walgreens. Ref to a w/m with a cane yelling at people. Male subject being loud and cussing and making customers nervous. Subject was sent to pay for his items and left, all ok.
  • Dispute, West Spring St., Monroe Public Library. Complaint called due to unsupervised juvenile in the parking lot, all ok.
  • Burglary report, Walker Dr., complainant went to retrieve property she is moved out of 3 weeks ago and noticed broken window.
  • Entering auto, West Spring St., Waffle House. Complainant advised her vehicle does not lock and she had her son’s piggy bank in the car to take to coin star after work. Named male subject asked for a cig and she told him it was fine. Complainant said on camera subject is seen leaving her vehicle a second time without permission but denies taking $500 in cash and silver coins.
  • Burglary report, West Spring St., Clearview Medical Center. Mother advised her daughter stole purse from mother. Daughter has complete power of attorney over the mother, mother has medical issues.
  • Domestic problem, Radford St. Father fighting with 15-yrst-olf son. Juvenile complaint filed for FV Battery.
  • Dispute, East Washington St. Ref to neighbor cutting through landscape across property line. Situation resolved.
  • Burglary, W. Vine St., Conestoga, complainants trailer was discovered w/ window and front door open and 32” Emerson flat screen TV and queen size air mattress missing. Victim’s mother witnessed green Ford Explorer pull up to residence and then take off when realized she was there. Vehicle stopped by GSP and Kristen Crumley was detained. After investigation, Crumley arrested for Burglary. Witness statements gathered and evidence secured from scene. Warrants to be taken by.
  • Child custody handled at MPD. Mother wanted officers to watch while she exchanged her child with future ex-husband. All was OK.
  • Suspicious persons, Walmart in regards family panhandling in area. Contact made and family sent on their way.
  • Suspicious person, Spring Pl. in regards to complainant stating she saw a person in blue jeans and wearing ski mask run through her yard about an hour prior to calling 911. The male ran through her yard towards to Boy Scout hut near church. No other description given, area checked w/ negative contact.
  • Domestic problem, Davis St. Grandson upset because grandparents would not give him money. Grandson was GOA prior to arrival. No claims of violence, all ok.
  • Trespass complainant taken at MPD. Complainant advised that four subjects have been told to stay off the property on Davis St. Complainant requested extra patrol of the property and was advised to call back if they returned so subjects can be served with a Criminal Trespass notice.
  • Arrest pick-up, Jackson County Jail. Sierra Hubbard arrested for Probation Violation warrant. Hubbard fingerprinted at MPD and then transported to Walton County Jail.
  • Suspicious persons/vehicle, W. Spring St. (Walmart) in regards to 2 W/M that were standing @ Walmart entrance cursing and then got into black Acura TL and left scene. Officer got out w/ vehicle on Plaza Dr. and contact made w/ subject and passenger. Apologized for language, advised they were telling vulgar jokes. All ok.
  • Suspicious vehicle on N. Broad St. traveling North in regards to white dually truck unable to maintain lane. Area checked w/ negative contact.
  • Officer’s called to W. Spring St. (Marathon gas station) w/ female subject in regards to reporting abuse. Subject stated her friend 36 YOA male who resides on S. Madison Ave. is possibly being abused by father. Subject stated no signs of physical abuse but male scared of his father. Subject advised to talk to male and see if he would like help or if there is an actual problem.
  • Theft, Tanglewood Dr. Contact made w/ complainant who stated a B/M by the name given stole $100 from him at a gathering. After further investigation, complainant confessed to losing $100 on a dice game and declined report. All ok.
  • Suspicious vehicle on Lacy St. Caller advised white Ford F-250 driven by B/M who possibly had liquor bottle in his hand. Area checked w/ negative contact.
  • Fight call on Nowell St. Units arrived on scene and no fight was present. Witnesses advised no fight took place.
  • Theft, Glen Iris Dr., complainant stated his Smith & Wesson revolver was stolen along w/ tools. No serial number available for revolver and no signs of how suspect gained entry to house. Complainant thinks possibly workers fixing house. Report taken.
  • Threats, Haven Inn. Worker stated customer in room number given called front desk saying he felt threatened and there may or may not be violence. Contact made with customer in room, customer stated Title Pawn store was mad at him and that’s why he felt threatened. All was ok, WCSO brought customer to Haven Inn per FISH and they will be transporting him later this morning.
  • Disturbing the peace, GW Carver homes. Juveniles out playing, advised parents who were outside with kids to take kids inside. All ok.
  • Officer’s called to Clearview in regards to female patient made statement that her father abused her. After investigation, patient also advised she is pregnant by her dad, brother, and a ghost. No signs of abuse and patient has an extensive medical history and is no longer taking her medications.
  • Animal Complaint, Kings Ridge, Pitbull loose and acting aggressively toward the complainant.  Contact was made with owner who stated the pitbull got out through a hole in the window.  She stated she realized he was loose and secured the dog along with the hole in the window.  She stated she would look into a rescue for the dog since it is too much for her to handle.
  • Suspicious Vehicle, South Madison Ave / Pannell Rd, Silver Ford Focus failing to maintain its lane of travel.  Contact was made with the vehicle and the driver, who was not impaired. All ok.
  • Suspicious Person, Spring Street Laundry, White male on property possible intoxicated.  Male subject on location inside the building cooling off from the heat.  Informed him of the loitering law and subject stated he would leave and go to a friend’s house.
  • Domestic Dispute, Lacy Street, daughter stated her father assaulted her in the face and she is pregnant.   The father was GOA and the father stated his daughter suffers from a mental illness and has no idea what she is talking about.  He stated there was no altercation.
  • Dispute, West Spring Street, complainant disputing with management over a room fee.  Complainant stated he had to switch rooms and was given an upgraded room but was not supposed to have to pay the difference in prices.  Advised complainant the full price would have to be paid and he would have to file a civil suit against the company.
  • Dispute, Bojangles, Verbal dispute between employees over job duties.  One employee clocked out and quit on the spot
  • Dispute, Wayne Street, Rolling dispute in the area of Wayne Street inside a black passenger car.  Vehicle had 2 occupants and looked to be verbal only.  Complainant lost contact with the vehicle and officers failed to locate it.
  • Animal Complaint, George Walton Academy, Racoon near the ball field.  Racoon was not located.
