The following are the latest incidents reported by the Monroe Police Department. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the fourth part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
- Disturbing the peace North Broad St. Deer Acers Inn. Hotel Staff advised male he needed to leave for causing too much noise at night working on his car. Male left for the night.
- Hit & Run at The Walton Stop. Incident occurred on Highway 138 at West Spring Street. White utility van merged into complainant’s lane without a signal or notice and made contact with complainant’s vehicle and then continued to leave the scene.
- Damage to Property at North Broad Street – Al’s Discount Tire. Female stated her 2003 Infinity i-35 had a wheel placed on her vehicle and it later fell off. She was warned the tire doesn’t belong on the vehicle, but she insisted it be placed on. Civil Matter
- Domestic at Irving Street. Subject on location attempting to get property after being released from jail. Property retrieved all ok.
- Theft at Monroe Area High School. Theft of student’s cell phone
- Theft at Monroe Area High School. Theft of student’s Jordan shoes
- Dispute on Green Street near Perry Street in reference to Antonio Brown and others on location. Verbal dispute between two females who were in a prior relationship, making false accusations. Situation mediated.
- Domestic at Walton Road in reference to 15-year-old son not wanting to go with mother. Son was sent with mother and owner of residence arrived on scene to advise they have filed eviction paperwork. No signs of domestic dispute.
- Civil Matter at Thompson Ridge Drive. Male wanted to get personal belonging from wife, but no one was on location.
- Theft at 6th Street in reference to stolen prescription medication.
- Wanted Person, Alcovy Street – Ridge View. Staff advised male subject who was a mental patient with an active warrant through State Probation. No valid warrant found. Contact was made with probation who advised they were in process of getting warrant signed and would serve it later.
- Domestic at Ridge Road in reference to sisters, requesting information on eviction process. Information provided.
- Escort at Ridge Road in reference to subject wanting to get belongings after being released from jail.
- Juvenile Complaint at Walker Drive in reference to juvenile involved in a physical domestic dispute with his aunt, and her boyfriend. Juvenile complaint filed.
- Meet in Person at the Walton County Sheriff’s Office in reference to meeting with victim, Timothy Peters, of strong arm robbery. Subject wanted to drop charges on Renzus Howard after he was arrested on the warrant. Referred to DA’s Office.
- Warrant , Alcovy Street – Ridge View. Robert Quaterman was served with warrant and taken to the Walton County Detention Center by state probation officers.
- Domestic in reference juvenile struck his uncle, in the face. Two additional charges of Battery to be taken. Regarding original case
- Entering Auto filed at the Monroe Police Department. Complainant advised someone entered her vehicle last date at Forrest Lane and stole her prescription medication.
- Damage to Property at the Monroe Police Department. Complainant advised someone throw a brick at his truck last date while traveling northbound on South Broad Street.
- Vehicle @ N. Broad Street heading south into town; Black Sports Car speeding towards town, negative contact.
- Disturbing the Peace at 4thStreet; Comp advised a subject was riding on a dirt bike being loud, negative contact.
- Disturbing the Peace at Armistead Cir; Comp advised a loud motorcycle going up and down the roadway. Negative Contact. GOA.
- 911 Hangup atPlaza Drive Apt D; Daughter arguing with her mother, mother fell to the ground from the stress but advised she was ok, declined treatment. All ok.
- Suspicious person Person at Hammond Park; Elderly gentleman just walking through the park, got dark before he could walk out, all ok.
- Harris Street; Female needed to go to the hospital for complications with her medication, EMS transported.
- Fire Assist at Felker Street; breaker box caught fire in the kitchen, TOT Fire Department, all ok.
- Suspicious vehicle Eastbound on Hwy 78 from New Hope Church Rd; Chevy S-10 traveling fast, no tag, negative contact.
- Juvenile Complaint @ Ridge Rd; Subjects in a dispute in a 10-16 over being disrespected. Parties separated all ok. No violence.
- Wanted person pickup @ Oglethorpe County Jail; Ronald Elrod picked up on City Probation Violation warrant
- Disabled Vehicle towed @ N. Broad Street and Mayfield; male cited for failure to maintain lane, driving on suspended license, texting while driving, failure to get GA license. Vehicle towed by Taylors.
- Wanted person @ Rockdale County line; Angela Allen picked up on City Probation Violation warrant.
- EMS Assist @ Carver Place; EMS cancelled assist, transported subject to Clearview. All ok.
- Suspicious Person @ Wal-mart; Male subject threatening employees, causing a disturbance. Male was barred from Wal-mart. Sent home.

- EMS Assist @ Carver Place; EMS cancelled assist, transported subject to Clearview. All ok.
- Suspicious Person @ Wal-mart; Male subject threatening employees, causing a disturbance. Male was barred from Wal-mart. Sent home.
- Suicide Attempt, at Bridgeport Place. Female took an unknown amount of pills because her juvenile grandkids where arguing and getting on her nerves.
- Mental Subject at Carver Place. Dispatch advised the Sheriff’s Office was responding to this address upon complainant’s request.
- Dispute, East Washington Street in reference to a former employee on location, refusing to leave. The formal employee was gone prior to officer arrival.
