Monroe Pizzeria and Eatery will be closing this weekend, but it will only be for a few days. The restaurant will officially be joining forces with Will Henry’s Tavern and will reopen at 138 N. Midland St. on Wednesday, March 12. The last day at the 105 N. Broad Street location will be Saturday, March 8.
“We have outgrown our space here, especially with all the new amazing people we are doing business with and growing our catering side while still being an active participant in the community. Will Henry’s will be under new management with a welcoming family friendly environment. We will still be serving our menu with some amazing new recipes as well as some of Will Henry’s favorites,” Monroe Pizzeria wrote on its Facebook page. “This will be full service dining and still have online ordering and takeout. This also brings more parking spaces and we’ll have designated parking spots for pick up orders, We will also have outdoor seating with a huge deck.”
Will Henry’s announced that the two restaurants will be merging kitchens, staff and management. Ownership and management with remain the same for both restaurants.
“This endeavor has been carefully planned with our community in mind. Our vision is to merge the BEST of both businesses to create an all-inclusive dining experience,” Will Henry’s announced.
From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monroe Pizzeria will have its menu available. Will Henry’s will operate from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. daily at which time its menu will be available. After 9 p.m., the restaurant will revert to adults only and will continue serving from Will Henry’s menu.
The combined restaurants will be open in time for the Memories in Monroe Car Show on March 15.
