A Note From the Board

Dear Sharon,

The MWCA Board appreciates your gifts of both time and money to support Walton County’s only non-profit community arts center. It truly takes a community of dedicated artists and art supporters to accomplish our mission.

However, we would like to make you aware that we currently are facing a shortage of operating funds. While we have received several small grants this year, the funds received are restricted to certain projects and uses. These grants do not cover the costs of keeping the doors open. In order to maintain our current hours of operation, class schedule, and dedicated staff, we must raise some operating funds in the near future. If you have been considering making a donation to the MWCA, now would be a great time to do so. And if the MWCA is part of your usual giving, please consider increasing your regular donation for the short term.

We are proud of the impact this art center has made in our community, and we’re proud of our artists, our volunteers, and our students. Please consider helping to ensure that we continue to support the arts in Walton County.

Make your tax-deductible donation HERE.

Many thanks,
Your MWCA Board
