Downtown Monroe Gnome Hunt!

In case you’ve missed out on our big FUN news – we started hiding “GNOME EGGS” (see below) on February 1, thanks to our pottery instructor, Rebecca Braswell!

The clear Gnome eggs are hidden around town with a ticket inside. Find one and bring in to MWCA and you will win an adorable pottery gnome – handmade by Rebecca and Beth Trinh.

We will hide a total of at least 40 eggs throughout February, but are watching the weather and will try to hide them when it’s NOT raining.  Watch our Facebook pagefor announcements of when the eggs are hidden next.  They will be (mostly) in the downtown business district.

Each ticket is numbered – we have the gnomes numbered as well and you will get the gnome that matches your ticket.

Limit: *one* gnome per household — so everyone has fun looking and finding! If you bring in more than one, we will only honor one ticket, so please let others have a chance – THANK YOU!

We also have a few gnomes in the shop, available for purchase for $12.

You can turn in your egg during our open hours:
Tuesday – Thursday 11 – 4
Friday and Saturday 10 – 5

While you’re here, check out our Artists Market Gift Shop, the gallery show and pick up a class list! Have fun and happy hunting!

Shameful scammers!!We try to keep it positive here at MWCA, so I hate to even have to post this but it’s starting to become a recurring issue.  Crooks are posting on our Facebook workshop event listings something like, “My dad died  and I can’t make it to this workshop so I need to sell my ticket.  Please PM me to buy my ticket.”

It’s happened several times, most recently just last week.

For *any and all* of our events or workshops, including *ticketed* classes that you have to pre-pay or pre-register for, you can ONLY get your tickets through us or the instructor for the workshop. *DO NOT* fall for spammers who are trying to sell their “tickets”.  They are thieves and crooks.
