Four weeks of ART camp to choose from … plus Art Intensive!

  • ages 5 – 8 and 9 – 14, plus ART Intensive (AP level art) for more serious students aged 14 – 18
  • June and July only
  • Camp times: 9 am – noon.  Art Intensive:  9 am – 4 pm.  Monday – Friday
Our Summer Members Show open Saturday, June 2.  So many fabulous works by our members – some see!

Look at these amazing rain barrels painted by our Artists (Joe Gargasz and Robin Shirreffs, so far!)! This is a cooperative effort with the City of Monroe. These barrels promote water conservation and come with conversion kits installed to attach to your downspout to catch rain water for your garden.

They will be auctioned off by the city at various events over the summer … be on the look out for these and more to come!

Wednesdays @ 3 – 4 pm during June and July.
Adults and ages 14 and up.

Join Robin for Drawing 101. Learn to push your pencil to new peaks. Class topics include: shapes, shading, perspective, Zen Tangles, drawing from nature and more!

Take one class or take as many as you want. Fee: $15 weekly or $50 if you wish to sign up for four classes; plus $10 (one-time fee) for supplies if needed. Pay Robin for supplies (cash please) at your first class. Supplies include: Sketch Pad, Pencil #2 and kneaded eraser.

.Pottery Mini Course: Four weeks in June
Thursdays starting June 7 from 10 am – noon

Instructor fee: $100 for members; $110 for non-members
plus $25 for clay and glazes.

Lynn is the 2015 First Place Winner, Oak Tree Press, Cop Tales for her mystery, Well of Rage and the first place winner of the 2017 unpublished fiction contest, Public Safety Writers Association, for her brand new published mystery, Another Kind of Hero. She has a law enforcement background and writes her character-driven stories with an ear for dialogue and an affinity for plot twists set in rich southern culture. She empowers and adds humor when she can and sheds light on the gray layers of life. She is a performance artist and member of Beacon Dance, Atlanta InterPlay:SoulPrint Players, and Dancing Flowers for Peace. Her flower persona is “The Dandelion”. She lives in Stone Mountain.
