DEMOREST, GA (03/05/2020)– Morgan Calhoun of Loganville, GA, helped the Piedmont College Lady Lions land a third-place finish in the Pfeiffer Invitational in Hardeeville, South Carolina.
Jordan Abbott led the way, posting a top-10 performance after shooting a 169. Abbott carded an 86 in round two.
Samantha Bearden also finished in the top 10 with an 88 in the second round. Mattie Morris shot a 92 to finish 20th while Carson Weiner shot a 98 and Morgan Calhoun carded a 101.
Bridgewater College won the tournament, improving its score on day two to finish with a team total of 332.
Chowan University’s Inecia Rolle maintained her lead and won the event with a 151 after a 73 in the second round.
Up next, the Lady Lions head to the Max and Susan Smith Invitational in Virginia March 14-15.
