MPD Reports: Air conditioner stolen from new construction, rolled down Davis Street overnight

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period March 21 – 27, 2019. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the final part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Burglary – E. Spring St.:Michael Miley arrested for Burglary 2nd degree and possession of burglary tools.
  • Warrant Executed – Double Springs Church Rd : Selatian Straughter arrested on theft of lost or mislaid property warrant that officer obtained.
  • Theft – Davis St.: Sarah Krawczyk said someone stole the air condition unit to the house they just built. The neighbor said she reported last night suspicious subjects rolling what appeared to be an AC unit down Davis Street at approximately 2122 hours. Several items collected to be fingerprinted as the neighbor did not see the subjects wearing gloves. CID Notified.
  • Lost or Misplaced – Unisia Dr.: Complainant stated that someone took her drive out tag off her vehicle while at work. Report Taken.
  • Identity theft – Monroe PD lobby.  The complainant advised when trying to purchase a vehicle he found a number of issues on his credit report.  Stated his social security number was used to run the credit check and that was how he observed the different collections on his credit.
  • Fraud – Monroe PD lobby.  The complainant advised that Enterprise rental in Monroe had charged an additional charge of $619 to her Chase Visa card.
  • Meet With – Manor Place. Complainant requested officers check the inside of the residence due to her security camera being activated by motion. All ok.
  • Damage to Property – Bridgeport Place in reference to someone striking Complainants’suburban at an unknown location. Report taken for insurance purposes.
  • Theft – South Broad St.: Met with the store clerk complainant. He stated a patron subject took another patron’s scratch-off tickets with 65 dollars and left the store. Report Taken.
  • Suspicious Person – Piedmont Walton in reference to three subjects refusing to leave the lobby.  Officer stood by with staff while they explained the parties needed to leave.  All ok.
  • Traffic Stop – Ebony Malloy arrested for warrants out of Lawrenceville Police Department reference shoplifting. Report taken.
