MPD Reports: Assault warrants taken after choking and biting attack

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Dec. 7 – 13, 2018. Due to the length, this report has been split into four parts. This is the final part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Wanted Person, Alcovy St., Georgia Probation Management. Nolan Bartholomew was arrested and taken to the Walton County Jail for a probation violation.
  • Suspicious Vehicle, Bankers Blvd/Liberty Lane, WCSO was taking a report for a stolen vehicle when the Officer called the vehicle in. The vehicle was turned over to its owner.
  • Meet with Officer, South Madison Ave., FISH, reference to a male subject needing a ride to Social Circle. He was taken to Whitney Road and turned over to Social Circle PD.
  • Welfare Check, West Spring St., Walmart in reference to two small children left in a vehicle on row 6. The vehicle was unoccupied on arrival.
  • Assault Report, West Spring St., Piedmont Walton, the incident occurred at an unknown apartment in Arnold Pointe. The complainant was hanging out with her cousin when named male subject came to the apartment. The male subject was intoxicated and began disputing with the complainant. After a verbal argument, he began to get physical by grabbing her around the throat and biting her. Both complainant & cousin received injuries. Warrants to be taken by the officer for Aggravated Assault, Battery X2
  • 911 hang up, Cook St., verbal argument between Lillie Cain and male subject about a vehicle in her yard. Lillie was arrested for a failure to appear warrant through WCSO. She was arrested and released to the Walton County Jail.
  • Suspicious Vehicle, Hwy 78 East, an anonymous complainant stated a Ford Mustang was failing to maintain lane approximately 15 minutes prior to calling. Negative contact with the vehicle.
  • Dispute, Lacey St., two subjects had an argument while intoxicated.  Parties separated.
  • Disabled Vehicle, North Broad/Charlotte Rowell, reference to a semi-truck with its hazard lights on. Negative contact with any disabled vehicles.
  • Reckless Driving, South Broad St., Southside MHP, reference to a motorcycle driving recklessly in the park.  Negative contact with any motorcycles in the roadway.
  • Dispute, Tanglewood Dr., two subjects had a verbal dispute over relationship issues.  One subject left for the night.
  • Civil issue, Old Mill Point, male and female subjects came to the home and stole a PS$ and Pitbull puppy. Contact was made with the step-father who advised there was no theft and stated he was going to speak to his children about the situation when he returned home. All ok.
  • Warrant Served, Tanglewood Lane, reference to Mario Thomas having warrants from Fulton County Probation. Arrested and transported to Walton County Sheriff’s Office.
  • Theft, Vine St., Unable to locate 36a. All of the lights were off at 26a, cars were registered to a different name than the caller, Gina Russell, and negative contact was made. Returned to patrol.
