The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period March 11 – 18, 2021. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the first part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
Mental Patient – Creekview Ct: In reference to a complainant advising someone is trying to take her money. EMS was dispatched to try to treat her. She refused and left the area on foot; she was wearing a green jacket and gray sweatpants and carrying 2 purses.
Juvenile Complaint – W Marable Street Juvenile refusing to go to school. juvenile got in her mother’s vehicle and went to school.
Dispute -Michael Etchison Rd / Hwy 138 to male and female arguing in the roadway. All okay.
Dispute – East Church Street. Subject being locked out of the residence where he rents a room. Contact made with the homeowner via telephone. Homeowner was advised he cannot lock the tenant out of the residence. Homowner stated he would be in route to let him inside. Situation Mediated.
Dispute – Tall Oaks W. Complainant advising that the husband jumped them and took their keys to a white Chevrolet Blazer. Complainant advised that the husband is gone in the Blazer.
Assault – Ridge Rd. In reference to a 19-year-old male that was struck in the face by an unknown woman. Report taken.
Dispute – S. Broad Street. Complainant having behavioral issues with her 19-year-old son. Son was spoken to and complalinant was advised of other remedies. All ok.
Civil Issue – W Spring St; SCI Roofing. In reference to the complainant advising that they allowed an employee to borrow the company truck and is refusing to return the vehicle. Report taken.
Trespassing – W Spring St. Haven Inn. In reference to a named subject who has been criminally trespassed from the property and has been at the location for the past couple of days per the complainant.
Theft – E 5th St. In reference to items taken out of the complainant’s storage unit. Belongings were stolen from a subject’s yard. She was advised remedies and given a case card.
Theft – Milledge Ave complainant advising that tenants on location have had items stolen. Complainant denied a report.
Dispute – 809 N Broad St. Vehicle Sales. In reference to the dealer refusing to turn over paperwork registration paperwork for over a year. Complainant advised of civil remedies and report taken.
